SuperEx Joins the EU Horizon Europe FAroGels Consortium
SuperEx (Pard Mühendislik ve Otomasyon San. Tic. Ltd. Şti.) has joined the FAroGels research project as an industrial partner, carried out under the European Union's Horizon Europe programme.
FAroGels (a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network) develops biodegradable and edible aerogels for sustainable food production, processing and packaging. The consortium brings together 8 academic institutions and 3 industrial partners across 7 countries, training 15 doctoral researchers.
SuperEx contributes its engineering expertise and pilot-scale equipment for supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO₂) processing, enabling reproducible drying, process control and the scale-up of aerogel production.
Consortium members include METU, MyBiotech (Germany), Nottingham Trent University (UK), CSIC (Spain), University of Udine (Italy), University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Aerofybers (Spain), Hamburg University of Technology (Germany), University of Helsinki (Finland) and AGH Krakow (Poland).
